posters and demonstrations are an integral part of the SIIM
2007 Annual
Meeting program.
POSTER & DEMONSTRATION LOCATION:
Posters will be set up for SIIM 2007 in Ballroom Level
Foyer, Level 5 at the Rhode Island Convention Center. Demonstrations will be set up in
Room 550 A/B Level 5 at the Rhode Island Convention Center.
Please check in at the SIIM Registration
Counter located in the convention center Lobby Level 3 to receive your poster or
demonstration location.
INSTALLATION & DISMANTLING:
Each presenter is responsible for the installation and dismantling of
their display.
Set-Up Times:
Wednesday, June 6 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Thursday, June 7 7:00 am - 8:00 am
Posters and Demos must be completely set
up by 8:00 am, Thursday, June 6.

Posters and Demos must be removed from
the Ballroom Foyer and Room 550 A/B no later than 10:00 am on Sunday, June 10.
Posters:
A
4' (vertical) x 8' (horizontal) tackboard will be available to display materials.
Back-illumination (viewboxes) will not be available.
DEMOS:
Demonstrations will include a 3' x 6' table and electrical connection.
Back-illumination (viewboxes) will not be available. Demo area will have a
4' (vertical) x 8' (horizontal) tackboard to display materials.
POSTER & DEMO SESSION:
The Poster and Demonstration Session is scheduled for Friday, June
9, 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm, and will be held in the Ballroom Foyer, Level 5. Each
presenter is asked to be available to discuss his or her presentation
during this time.
AWARDS:
Posters and Demos are scored for
awards/prizes based on the following criteria: scientific merit,
clarity of presentation and interest to SIIM members. Awards
for the best scientific exhibits will be displayed at Friday's
poster and demonstration session. Prizes will be presented to
recipients at the closing general session on Sunday morning. To be
eligible for an award, authors are to turn in a full paper for
peer-review to the Journal of Digital Imaging before or
during the SIIM 2007 meeting via
JDI Manuscript
Central.
CME NOTICE:
Since SIIM scientific presentations
are accredited for CME credit, SIIM maintains the right to actively
protect that accreditation. The poster and demo session moderators
will be instructed to interrupt speakers whose
talk has an overt marketing bias, and to document those instances.
Such documentation will be used in abstract evaluations for future
SIIM meetings. To avoid this, presenters are advised to avoid
all marketing logos except for an opening slide and disclose any
potential conflicts of interest (if applicable). |

damage to any display or equipment for any cause. |
